A Word From The Pastor

Greetings in His Wonderful Name,

We end April with great anticipation of our revival starting this Sunday, May 4th. I cannot stress enough the importance of a couple of last minute things you can do. First, clear your schedule and be here. I know soccer games, homework, and so many other things are on your list. It was not too long ago that our family faced the same challenges. I would encourage you to miss one game or go the extra mile in helping your student get his work done so that you can be here. All the reports are that Jamey is anointed by God to preach the Word. Everywhere he goes the crowds grow in numbers with each worship service. If you miss these times of revival you very well may miss one of life’s greatest blessings. By the way, don’t forget to sign up your child for the children’s activities on those nights. Pastor Mike has a Christian comedian coming in and it will not be a time of babysitting.

Second, invite a friend. Look around at your place of work, at your school or in your own family and invite them to join you for this time of revival. I can assure you that they will not only enjoy the messages but be challenged by them. You do not have to fear what they will hear as God’s Holy Spirit will be with us and will penetrate their hearts as they listen to His Word preached powerfully and with Holy Spirit anointing.

As we head into May it is usually a time when we talk about family. Just looking around at our world tells us that family may one day be a forgotten word in our society. Hardly a day goes by when Debby and I are not praying for our family both near and far. Even with the challenges we’ve faced God continues to call Debby and me to faithfully pray and believe that God will work in the lives of our family members.

May also holds some great times to gather together as a church family. On Mother’s Day, moms are invited to be served breakfast at the church by our men. A week after that, we’ll gather on Sunday night to celebrate "Becoming the Church of Tomorrow" and the progress being made on our new worship center. One last thing: if I had a daughter going into the 7th grade or still in high school I’d do everything I could to get them to Polished, May 16 & 17. Your daughters do not want to miss this time of spiritual growth and inspiration. I appreciate so much the hard work that Nancy and Ashleigh have put into making this a first-class event for our young ladies.

See you at the revival.

Pastor Carl
