In order to more effectively reach our community for Christ, we are embarking on this task of expanding our facilities. To pay for this expansion, we are beginning a 3-year capital campaign beginning this fall. The Hyland Heights body of believers is being asked to join together and partner over a 3-year period to raise the funds to complete the task.
Each family and individual member is being asked to consider giving a sacrificial offering in addition to a regular tithe. God does not measure our gifts in dollar values but in levels of sacrifice. "This poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others". This is what Jesus said regarding the poor widow in Mark 12, after she gave all she had to live on, two small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny. "They gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty" (Mark 12:41-44)
God is never limited by money, but we can be limited by a lack of faith. Regardless of our assets or income, we can make a meaningful contribution sacrificially out of faith and love. We hope you will make a commitment cheerfully and rejoice in the satisfaction of finding and following God's will. If we present ourselves as living sacrifices to God, then we will see Him do an amazing work in our community, in our church, and in our lives.
In arriving at your decision to give to in support of the scriptural funding campaign, please honestly consider and resolve these questions...

Campaign commitments encompass a three year period, so weekly or monthly sacrifices can add up to a generous gift over 36 months.

You might also want to consider income from savings, tax returns, bonuses or dividends. In addition, you have the option of giving real estate, stocks, bonds, coins, gold, boats, cars, etc.
