What are we about?
Kidz Rock Ministries exists to help KIDZ surrender their lives to Christ and to Raise them up to share Christ with other children in the community. We want them to Obtain a strong walk with Christ and Commit to use their talents and gifts for Him. We want to produce a strong group of young Christians who Know Christ on a personal level and impact the future for Him.
Who are we?
We have a heart for Children’s Ministry
Mike Summy is the Children’s Pastor at Hyland Heights Baptist Church. He has been attending the church for 25 years and has been on staff since 1998. Mike believes that children are the future and that it is essential to provide quality Christ centered programming for the children of Hyland Heights.
Other members of our KIDZROCK crew include Thersa Peterson who oversees our Preschool and Carmen Kerr who manages the Nursery. Our interns are Hannah Spear and Nathan McMurray. Get Connected!
Me and a friend of mine, are interested in volunteering with the middle school age children or elementary.
Is there any potential opportunities for us to help out?
Yes we can always use help, if you contact the church office 821-6906 they will put you in contact with our pre-teen coordinator
