Mission Statement
Our vision is to seek to fulfill Christ’s mission by encouraging women with a sense of belonging to God and each other, enabling them to become all they are to be in Christ, and equipping them to bless others with the love, grace and truth of Jesus Christ (Eph. 4:11-12)

On behalf of Women’s Ministry at Hyland Heights Baptist Church, we thank you for requesting information about our ministry. Our mission is to encourage and enable women to become all they are to be in Christ. We would love to help you CONNECT to God and other women, GROW in your walk with the LORD and IMPACT your community. We offer several activities throughout the year to help you do just that.
Some of our events include:
Bible Studies – We offer several Bible Studies throughout the year. In September, we are beginning our fall bible studies. “James” by Beth Moore is being offered on Tuesday afternoons, Wednesday nights and Friday Mornings. “Me, Myself and Lies” by Jennifer Rothschild on Wednesday evening. First Place for Health also meets on Wednesday nights.
Fellowship – From our annual events like the Flip Flop Fling and Christmas Extravaganza, to movie nights, retreats and weekend trips, we would love to have you join us as we help connect women together through fun-filled activities. Be on the lookout for our fall activities.
Apples of Gold – This is a short-term 6 week mentoring program based on Titus 2. This program equips younger and newly married women to lead more Godly lives through “Listening, Loving, Learning, and Living.” Topics that are discussed include, loving your husband, loving your children, purity, hospitality, kindness and submission. Sessions begin in September and there are still a few spots open!!
WOW [women of wisdom] – WOW is our summer spiritual growth series where HHBC women of faith share their hearts and godly wisdom. Women of all ages are welcome on this journey of faith. This past summer we had sessions on leading your child to Christ, loving your prodigal, coping with infertility, and the mother-in-law/daughter-in-law relationship. June 2013 will be our next WOW sessions.
