It’s hard to believe it’s already May! This past weekend my family spent some time outside and, some of us, even got a little red from the sun! My prayer for this May is that just as it’s easy to see when someone has been in the sun for a time, that people in our community would continue to see the radiance of Christ in our lives because of our time with Him. Below are some ways Hyland Heights has been shining for Jesus this past week as well as our weekly financials.
As many of you have seen, this past week, because of the tremendous generosity of our church family, we were able to fill the gas tanks of over 200 medical workers in our community as a way to say thank you for serving on the front lines during this time of national crisis. Each medical worker received up to $20 in gas, a Chick-fil-A sandwich, cookie, additional coupons from Sheetz, a Hyland Heights water, and a card to remind them that our God and our church cares about them and about our community! If you haven’t seen the video yet, this outreach was featured on WSET News 13 last Thursday night and you can see it by clicking
